Janet is amazing! I found Janet's business on a mom group in Charleston. We recently moved here and I wanted to do some Easter photos with my family because the past 2 years with Covid had been really rough for my husband and I, he lost his grandpa and grandma, his sister, and his mom, and I had several extended family and close friends passing during the 2 years of this awful pandemic, so I thought that it would be a nice thing to do something as a family, and also to have a way to put an end to so much stress and sadness. I emailed Janet and told her specifically the type of photos that I wanted to capture and she did AMAZING! I have done family photos in the past, but Janet's style draw me immediately. Working with Janet was SO easy, and fun. We did a family session, with a cake smash at the end for our daughters first birthday. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous, and we had a blast taking them. This is the first time I’ve worked with a professional photographer who I feel like captured our family perfectly. Janet captured pictures that were true to us, and not awkward. She was great with our 1 year old, and had lots of tricks and ideas to keep her engaged and laughing. We will treasure these photos forever.
We absolutely LOVED working with Janet. She is incredibly talented and professional, and makes you feel at ease and comfortable throughout the photoshoot. We had her do our newborn photos, and had a quite fussy baby throughout the morning. She was patient and found creative ways to get good shots, as well as to help calm the baby! Janet is an absolutely amazing family photographer! First of all, she is so flexible, a great communicator, and so helpful with outfit choices, shoot ideas, and everything in between. We have had her do a few shoots for us. The first being 1 year old pictures for our first born along with gender reveal pictures for our now one month old baby girl! She was amazing and made us look great despite how cold and windy it was on the beach in the winter and a very grumpy 1 year old! You couldn’t even tell he was upset in the photos! We used her again for an outdoor newborn/family session and once again she blew our expectations out of the water! The photos she captured we will cherish forever!
