I absolutely loved everything about this in-home newborn session and how their sweet dog joined in so perfectly!

This sweet mama was looking for a Charleston newborn photographer that would capture natural and timeless photos of their family at home once their new baby arrived. It was important to include their first born fur baby and she did so well during the session! Leading up to the session, we talked on the phone and discussed everything including scheduling, location, outfits and how to best prepare for the session. All newborn clients also get access to my exclusive newborn session guide to help prepare you for the session. Having clear communication before the session always helps everyone be more comfortable during the session. By the time their sweet baby was born, I felt a true connection to this sweet family and it felt we were just good friends hanging out when we finally got to meet!

We started the in-home newborn session by capturing photos inside and then ended the session in the backyard. I love the photos we captured in the backyard, they are some of my favorite! I can just image all the memories they are going to make in this backyard with their girls and how their baby girl will be walking down that path by next year!
