This sweet baby boy is already so loved by his parents and I was so honored to be welcomed into their home as their Mount Pleasant newborn photographer to document this fleeting newborn season.

This family chose to have their newborn session in the comfort of their own home and keep their style comfortable and casual. I always recommend that the new mom styles herself first and then we can coordinate the rest of the family. A lot of moms will choose to wear a dress for their newborn session but I always tell clients to wear what feels most like them. If you love to wear dresses, wear a dress but if you’re not a dress person then don’t feel like you need to wear a dress. I want you to look back on your images and have them feel true to you and your family!

The focus of newborn sessions is to capture this special newborn season exactly as it feels and to remind of all the little details you might forget. That is why I keep styling and posing simple so that the focus remains on your family and new bundle of joy! I always love to help clients with styling and finding outfits that are true to them!
